A note from the artist:
Soy wax has a low melting point which makes it very safe for home candle use. Additionally, there is no smoke given off from the burning or evaporation of the wax during use. Because of the low melt point the fats of the wax can appear as white flakes in the color portion or as a creamy white on top of the candle. These color effects do not affect the burn or smell of your candle. During the burning or your candle, allow the wax to fully puddle to the rim of your glass. This will prevent those small hols in your candle that shorten candle life and allow the candle to look new each time you use it.

Owned and operated by Houston and Heather Hill, Fallingwood studio creates a variety of hand crafted works for home use including a line of candle holders and lamps. Houston is trained as a visual artist with degrees in art from the University of Maryland, College Park and in sculpture from the Rinehart School of Sculpture at the Maryland Institute College of Art in Baltimore, MD. An avid cyclist, Houston spends time with his two buddies, Duncan “the Beagle” and Manny “The All American”. You can find the three of them most days rambling around the studio and barking at passing cyclists! Heather is a Controller and a huge animal lover and the brains behind the operation. If she is not lovin’ on her two rescue dogs or riding a horse, she is probably posting on Facebook about her animals and her love of them!
