Peters Valley is a non-profit 501 (c) (3) organization dedicated to enriching lives through the learning appreciation and practice of the art of fine craft.Â
Since 1970, Peters Valley School of Craft has transformed the lives of thousands of students through creative education. Our workshop programs in blacksmithing, ceramics, woodworking, fiber arts, photography, jewelry, and other fine crafts give artists the opportunity to expand their creative practice in a welcome and serene environment within the National Park.Â
Along with our adult immersion workshops, the school mentors and supports emerging artists through Artist Fellowship and Studio Assistantship programs, which are often stepping stones into fulfilling professions and leadership opportunities in the arts. We provide community outreach and craft demonstrations at local schools, and host youth art programs on campus for ages 7-17. Our Scholarship Program is at the heart of our mission and each year we give out 120+ scholarships to students, allowing them the opportunity to take transformative, creative workshops on campus.Â
