Steel rings are hand-formed and each is soldered with silver solder, intentionally visible to reveal this process. Non-tarnish coated copper wire is securely coil-wrapped adding color, texture, and shine to the surface. Steel has been patinaed and has a protective wax coating.
Brienne Rosner, Dingmans Ferry, PA
Brienne received her BFA in Painting with a minor in Art History from Boston University, and has exhibited in solo and group exhibitions nationally including a solo show at Cedar Crest College and a two-person exhibition at Allens Lane Art Center in Philadelphia. Her work is in collections such as the Boston Public Library and a permanent installation at the Metcalf Science Center of Boston University. Brienne has been a visiting artist at Cedar Crest College and Lafayette College. She was awarded the Louise K. Binswanger Prize for Best Artist New to the Show at the 40th Annual Philadelphia Museum of Art Contemporary Craft Show.
