Copper Penny Bowl 08
A note from the artist:
“The shape and glaze patterning of this piece subscribes to the Wabi Sabi aesthetic of beauty of imperfection. Its glaze was hand mixed and developed by me and it was fired in a unique firing process to create the lusters and colors. Each piece is truly one-of-a-kind. This piece is most suitable for home decor, as to achieve this result this high temperature clay body was fired at a low temperature. Therefore it is inherently fragile and not completely waterproof. Hand wash gently with dish soap and warm water.”
