Gold/Silver Luster:
NOT MICROWAVE SAFE! This piece has real metal on it and should never be placed in a microwave. Also, this piece should be hand washed only, as harsh detergents and abrasives can rub the gold or silver luster off the surface over time.
Carefully and lovingly crafted by hand at the Nicholson File Artist Studios in Providence, RI (and sometimes at my home studio in Hebron, CT). I meticulously draw each pattern into the surface of the clay using an Xacto knife and inlay a colorant into the design before wiping it away. This piece is food safe, but not dishwasher or microwave safe. Hand washing your ceramic pot is always the best way to prolong the life of your handmade piece.
