Twenty years ago I took a course at Peters Valley to learn to make a Windsor chair and used a woodturning lathe for the first time to turn the spindles and legs. The chair was never completed but I fell in love with woodturning. I have been working at mastering the skill ever since. There is always more to learn and more that I am able to create, so that the “work” remains ever new, challenging and gratifying.
